Job Description
- *CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Support Professional AMS opening for our client in Secaucus, NJ.**
- *Location:** Secaucus, NJ
- *Duration:** 12 months
- *Duties:**
- Provide application production support for mission-critical systems.
- Perform break/fix resolution and support for REST/JSON APIs and SQL-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system faults, alarms, and performance anomalies.
- Manage trouble tickets, document findings, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in change management processes to ensure stability and compliance.
- Conduct security remediation activities in alignment with organizational standards.
- Perform debugging and complex troubleshooting across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support system health.
**Skills:**
- Strong understanding of REST and JSON APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with RAML specifications and working with Postgres and Snowflake databases.
- Experience with fault/alarm troubleshooting and trouble ticket management.
- Solid knowledge of change management and security remediation practices.
- Ability to debug complex issues across distributed systems.
- Experience with Grafana, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud.
- Bonus: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in application production support and break/fix resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incidents and troubleshoot across a broad technical stack.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with developers and system admins.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
