Job Description: Loss Prevention Associate at TJ Maxx

Position Summary:

The Loss Prevention Associate supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and store management by deterring theft and ensuring safety. Responsibilities include maintaining a visible presence at the store front, wearing a company-approved uniform and body worn camera, assisting customers, observing suspicious activities, and reporting incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store
• Act as a visual deterrent to theft
• Wear uniform and body worn camera as required
• Greet customers courteously and assist as needed
• Monitor store activity and report suspicious behavior
• Perform safety sweeps and document incidents
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Sound decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Effective time management and organization
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• 0-2 years retail or security experience
